Internal Core Levels 1-3


The Internal Core levels and program are the important basics that underly all the internal movement you see in the various internal arts. Keeping the body straight is easily said but difficult to maintain through all kinds of movement. The various phases will teach Wuji and standing, how to turn, how to shift weight and how to step. Breathing natural and reverse is taught and the Peng or body state which is the tension held in the body is done in a special way.

The course ends with moving the whole body in basic circles with each arm. The movement begins in the dan tien and spirals up and down and in and out. This action is referred to as "silk reeling" and is the essence of Tai Chi Chuan.
